Recently, Maniac Magazine nominated me as one of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s “Women of Power”. I am honored and humbled by this title, and hope that I can encourage other women to be powerful and live their dreams with reckless abandon! Thank You April Hubal and the Maniac staff! Nothing makes your guests feel more welcome than a stylish powder room. Punch up these small spaces will bold and beautiful wallpaper. Here are a few of my fave’s…

Loving everything about this chic space.. Chinoiserie (french for oriental) has made a comeback and I’m embracing it for sure!

How whimsical and fun are these two? OBSESSED with fornasetti.

Last, but not least.. some of my great friends in Pittsburgh spiced up their powder room with this elegant yet fun black and white paisley wallpaper.

Grasscloth: The Comeback Kid

We all know the 60′s are making a comeback in homes around the world. Sleek Mid Century styles can be seen in abundance and the Mad Men scene is HOT! Hot! HOT! This trend is one that I’m welcoming with open arms: wallpaper. Or, the updated name for the new consciously designed fashion for your walls, wall covering.  Grass cloth wall covering in particular is experiencing a huge resurgence and I love it!

Here’s a throwback..(set of Mad Men)

Here are some fabulous spaces with grasscloth wall coverings.

(is this space not TO DIE FOR?? I love the chandelier!)

Soft and subtle… the grey grasscloth adds warmth to this neutral space.

Or how about using it on your ceiling?? Don’t forget to look up!

So, are you sold???

I love this vintage French set.. It reminds me of Dorothy Draper with it’s romantic lines and white detail. This New Jersey nursery is going to be a show stopper.
